Carolyn’s career began in the retail industry. Her role progressed to eventually obtaining a North Qld management support role of 20 stores for a well established franchise. The management position led to furthering her career with a bachelor of business majoring in accounting which was completed while starting a family and travelling around Australia.

Carolyn’s goal was to combine her management skills, industry knowledge and accounting degree to help small and family businesses. Julia Hartman had been her accountant and provided much support during her years of study so she was very enthusiastic to join the BAN TACS team in 2005 and opened her own office in 2011 on the Central Coast of NSW.

Since starting at BAN TACS Carolyn has increased her knowledge in many areas and gained a wide spectrum of clients. As an experienced accountant Carolyn can assist with many areas of taxation and advice; her particular expertise includes rental properties, business, capital gains, structures, travelling workers and tax planning.

Carolyn feels it is important for her clients to be able to touch base as needed so they can have knowledge of what their current position is and to communicate forward planning.
