Discussion Piece – Transferring Residential Houses to your SMSF
Do you have enough houses to be allowed to transfer them to your SMSF? It can be done if you have quite a few properties.

The trick is to be considered in the business of property investing as opposed to merely a property investor. You will need quite a few properties and it is best that you manage them yourself. The key to this comes from paragraphs 35 and 38 in SMSFR 2009/1.

The tax concessions associated with SMSFs certainly make it worth considering.
